Statement of Purpose Hospitality House Youth Directions, Boys and Girls Clubs, Inc., founded in 1960 and incorporated in 1963, is committed to
developing responsible career staff persons to reach out to urban youth, ages 6-18, in their physical and intellectual development, their social
integration and their spiritual birth and growth in Jesus Christ. The strategy is four-fold:

1. Go where the youth are…the schools, the parks, the streets…
2. Meet the real needs of youth–a holistic ministry
3. Keep the programs Christ-centered
4. Raise up a new generation of young people who will assume leadership roles in our communities
