Experience Debra Frasier’s book narrated by Dr. Maya Angelou and set to music by Steven Heitzeg, with projected illustrations behind the Orchestra. Other music celebrates times of day, including Grieg’s Morning Mood (with projected student artwork), Debussy’s Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, and two pieces for nighttime: Mozart’s Eine kleine Nachtmusik and Gottschalk’s A Night in the Tropics. Enjoyed by all ages.

Hailed as one of the great voices of contemporary literature and a remarkable Renaissance woman, Dr. Maya Angelou is also hosting an evening lecture on Friday, March 14th at Orchestra Hall. Don't miss this chance to experience her captivating words and mesmerizing vision.
